Recently, Bayer Emeryville and Bayer Wayne, NJ celebrated the launch of Betaseron’s 30-gauge needle—currently the thinnest needle in MS therapy with a new and improved auto-injector, BETAJECT® Lite. Over the last year, every component in the final patient kit changed with the exception of the drug vial. In recent tests, some people with MS reported not even feeling the 30-gauge needle, which goes a long way toward helping patients overcome injection anxiety.
“The realization of this project was possible due to the intense dedication of our employees here and the partners from the project team in Wayne, as well as our great collaboration with our vendors Catalent and Baxter,” said Doreene. “This is truly one of the most exciting changes to the Betaseron brand in years.”
