Great places to work emerge when people from all over the world share different perspectives to find the best solution. Bayer operates in the belief that an inclusive work environment isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s also good business.
Our employees on the west coast represent 47 countries and speak 32 languages. A representation of these employees makes up the Bayer Diversity Council, which reflects the diverse nature of both the company and the San Francisco Bay Area. The Council is a vehicle to promote dialogue on diversity issues and offers solutions to diversity-related challenges. Every other year, the Diversity Council hosts the Celebration of Global Cultures, inviting employees to dress in traditional dress, sample food and drink from their respective countries, and experience a host of live performances.
Because of this unique and diverse campus culture, Bayer received the 2006 Diversity Spirit Achievement Award by the Diversity Recruiters Network Diversity Employment Day.
